During the night, even though it was so dark and no entertainment but we could sleep tightly. Perhaps it is caused our tiredness. My legs got hurt and pain all of them, but I was so happy. This experience would never I get again when I got back to Jakarta.
Around 4 am the activities had started slowly. The host’s lady came out and brought the dishes to the river. We also followed them to river to take a pee and wash our hands.
After that around 6.30 am, we had our breakfast. Well they were the same menu as the last dinner. But they were so delicious.
After that, we took a walk around the village to get to know more about Baduy Dalam and to see their morning activities. Then around 8 am we gathered again to prepare our trip back to the town “Ciboleger”.
Our return trip went different route as we wanted to see the famous root bridge. The trip was also thrilled. We stopped quite long at the Baduy Luar Village. But I forge what it is called. We enjoyed some snacks and drinks.
Then we continued back our trip to the Ciboleger. Until our last walking trip to the small community which open convenient store to provide a place to rest. We rested there while were waiting others to arrive. Then, around two hours rest we moved to Ciboleger by elf. In Cibologer we had 30 minutes to buy some handy craft and souvenirs.
I was so startled that our Baduy Dalam fellow has arrived to Ciboleger tough they walked than we went by a car. So it was amazed.
At the moment I was so restless as the phone signal had not backed properly. Finally, we found the cause.
We arrived at the terminal close to Rangkasbitung station around 15.45. BUT the bad thing was happened. The KRL was stopped due to electrical problem whole java and bali island.
We were panic and afraid. We did not know the exact way to come back to Jakarta.
The local suggested us to take a bus to Jakarta through mandala terminal. We followed their suggestion. We took a small bus to Mandala station and waited the big bus that will take us to Jakarta.
After, contemplating around 30 minutes whether take bus or rent a car fortunately the Prima Jasa has arrived. Then we decided to take that bus to Jakarta and we got a seat. The trip was so nice even tough it was so crowded since the KRL was off.
After 2 hours 30 minutes trip, we arrived in Kebon Jeruk. Then we decided to take taxi to bring us to the town. The signal still did not run well.
Finally I arrived home on Sunday 6 August around 21.00 pm
Well, It was inedible journey

It was such as inedible way to spend your weekend by visiting “Baduy Dalam”. After series of cancelation and postponed plan, eventually I had opportunity to join trip to Baduy. I choose a solo trip through Wuki Travel. Wuki travel helped me to arrange this journey

This trip started at Tanah Abang station. We took KRL to Rangkasbistung. After two hours trip, we arrived and continued the journey to Ciboleger by elf car. Finally, around 11.30 pm we landed at Ciboleger station and had some rest before our track to “Baduy Dalam”. Ciboleger station is like a central economy for the baduy luar or dalam and also the last station before walking trip to Baduy. There were many Baduy Dalam folks waited to accompany us to their home.

Around 12.30 we gathered to prepare our trip to Baduy. Our group consisted around 28 people. Then TL briefed us about the trip. Finally, we commenced our journey. At the beginning, I determined to carry my own back pack, yet I was so tired and lazy. So not even reach middle of the trip I gave up and I asked help from one of my baduy fellow “Mr Jacku” to carry my bag. :D.

Along the trip, I was so thrilled by the scenery. I was enjoying the journey while the TL explained about some information about Baduy. We were happy yet exhausted at the same trip. Perhaps for some people the trip was so hard. The road was rough, we had to clime and walk down the wood. We passed the “Baduy Luar” community and stopped by in the several places to take a rest. And there was a place, the border between “Baduy dalam and Baduy Luar” that we stopped quite long to say goodbye to our phone since when we passed the bridge we could not access it especially our camera. We did not allow captured digitally our moment in Baduy Dalam.

Finally, after 5 hours walking passing the Jungle, we arrived in Cilebo village at Baduy Dalam. My word for this moment was “AMAZING”.
The village was not big but it was quite crowded. The houses have the similar shape one and another. Off course there was not electricity, bathroom facility, market, entertainment and any modern world access. They live so modestly. They stitched to the nature.
The house was made by the woven bamboo and the roof was made by sago leave. All the house looked the same nothing different both inside and outside. There are roughly 100 houses at the village. Inside the house we will not see any furniture or any rooms. There is only one room as a bedroom and also kitchen called Pawon. Even though, it called kitchen but you will not able to find any sink or other kitchen furniture. There is only one Tungku
After we arrived at the house and unpacked our backpack. Then we went the alley as the bathroom. We did shower in the open river together with all the local who did many things there including washing the clothes, dish, and the other things that will use water. But you have to remember that you cant use any chemical things such as soap, shampoo, sunlight, detergent or toothpaste that will pollute the river. So it is totally back to the nature.
After we have finished clean up our body, we went back to the house and had some chit chat with ayah Naya or Shapri the man who hosted us there. We shared our background. He told us about some information about “baduy dalam” and also their history.
Finally, our food was ready. Naya’s wife made us some dinner. The food was so simple a bowl of soup, fried egg, and rice but as we were together and it was so homey. They were so delicious. We cleaned all the food.
After that, all the group was gathered in the house. The intention was to get to know each other. We shared our background and asked some question the local about the Baduy.
Eventually, the night was getting high we were so sleepy. Some people went back to the house. And we prepared to sleep. But, we went to the river back to the house to take a pee and wash our hands.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
